To all my beloved customers, I hope you girls are aware that our products are made upon order (unless stated as ready stock but rarely). All my handmade products are made with love, effort, time and alot of care. Amusse is not a mass-producing factory. These terms and conditions are state on amusse.tumblr.com as well.
Just a background about Amusse if you do not know, it started on 2011, selling handmade tie-dye and ombre products like t-shirts, shorts and dresses. And also Amusse handpainted galaxy shorts and t-shirts. After the hype and trend slowed down, Amusse started bringing in handpicked apparels and accessories including vintage items that are sourced from all over the globe. Currently, Amusse is now selling handmade products such as tote bags, pouches, clutches and laptop sleeves.

Who is Amusse?
Yes me! I am Vivien and people know me as Amusse. I'm 20 this year and I graduated from Retail Merchandising in ITE on April and currently pursing my diploma Apparel Design and Merchandising in Temasek Poly.
I went through a long way from ITE till Poly, it was not easy for me to get a place in this course. I was really fortunate and thankful. It was really a huge jump from Business to Design. Nothing was easy for me in Poly as I have no art background but I wanted to do something I love.
This was my first assignment on digital essentials which I spent many sleepless nights on photoshop and illustrator to design a magazine cover for Catalog.
Observation drawing on Visual Merchandising.
Visual Merchandising display that I designed and made for my favourite perfume, Marc Jacob Daisy.
Looks easy isn't it? Melting, constructing, cutting, drafting, painting and fixing the board display took me 3 days. Everything spells effort. Nothing in design is easy.
Concept Development and Research : Developing a collection
Textile Manipulation : Combining of 2 techniques to create a product. I made this tie knot skirt by tie-dyeing a shirt and sewing it into a skirt. Knitted a scarf and attached it around the skirt.
Drawing is fun but it wasn't easy for me as I am not talented and I had to practice alot.
I do love fashion but I am more of a casual and comfy person and I wear whatever that is more comfortable.

The Major
I love making products and creating new products for Amusse. And I believe this obsession will never die. Unfortunately, I am unable to solely focus on Amusse as I am too busy with school. I can't wait to graduate so I could make more amazing things for Amusse. I hope the support from you girls would still continue now and also in future. All the profits I get from Amusse goes to my school fees and also my allowances. I pay for my own bills and buy my own stuff without getting allowance from my parents. Nothing is easy for me. I went through a long way, ups and downs. I believe everything I went through shape me as a better person.
As a design student, I rarely have time for myself. I spent many sleepless nights doing assignments and rushing on submissions. To the extent that I had hormone change that affects my skin complexion very badly(the reason why I no longer want to model for Amusse).
I put in all my effort in everything I do as well as for Amusse. But sometimes 24 hours is just 24 hours. I do wish I have all the time in the world to do what I love as well. During my free time, I will still be working on amusse. Which is not exactly my 'free time' anymore.
Good things are worth the wait, I'm sorry if I ever deliver your products late and reply your emails late! Sometimes, I might not ever receive your emails! Do send me a few times if I don't reply! :)
