Thank you for all the emails! Many of you guys has been asking me to blog about myself.

So basically this is like an Q&A sessions hahaha! 

Let's start from the photos aboveˆˆ

My Clothes Rack

Above pictures are just taken in my room, clothes that are displayed on rack are all mainly pullovers and outerwears. My dresses, tops, bottoms are all kept in a drawer! Because I've got too many clothes to hang them up! Promise for the room tour soon! After my exams! 

My Shelf

My shelf is always messy and I can't be bothered about it but recently I thought it would be good to spice it up and look nice and presentable since chinese new year was around the corner! The noticeboard is from Artfriend but you can get it from Daiso it as well! 

The word 'dream' was painted by my bff Wenxuan, so you can't get it from anywhere since is handmade!

My skincare routine

Honestly speaking, I never give a damn about skincare until I was 18 when I started working at The Body Shop as a part-timer.

My skin type is consider oily/combination skin, I do have acne problems too. 

Plus, I am lazy and I have bad genes. Both my parents have GOOD FLAWLESS SKIN. 

Sometimes, I questioned myself if I'm adopted. Hahaha! 

Okay back to my skincare, my aunt introduce me DRx products few months back and WOW is damn good! I love their products alot but their products are really really expensive. I've to spent at least $200-$300 on my skin care products everytime I visit there. 

On top of that, I'm using Clarisonic!Which you can get from any sephora outlet.

 This device cleanse your face 6 times better than your hands! 

And is good for lazy people like me! I recommend everyone to use clarisonic! 

Even though is expensive, I think is $200++ and every 2 months you have to buy a new brush head which cost $42! 

REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR BRUSH HEAD EVERY 2 MONTHS IF NOT YOU WILL GET BACTERIAL INFECTION. 

I was lazy to get a new brush, because I don't like traveling to town. 

So I used the same brush head for 4 months!! 

My skin was flawless after treatment from DRx products and the use of clarisonic, and then recently I realised that my cheek area was itchy, redness starting to appear. I thought I accidentally ate prawns so I just took my allergy medication. 

But it was not the prawns, it was the brush! I only found out when the itchness and redness got worst after 3 weeks! 

Now I'm hoping my face would recover soon! :( 

My Accessories

My 3 plates of eyewear! I think eyewear is my favourite accessories because is so easy to spice up the whole outfit. Chunky bangles, necklaces and rings used to be my favourites, but nowadays I realised I prefer just a simple bangle/bracelet around my wrist. And of course, a watch.

1. How old are you this year?

 I am turning 20 on 24th Feb 2013. 

2.Where are you schooling or working at? 

I am currently taking Retail Merchandising in College Central(AMK ITE), graduating this April to Poly. I run my own online store(amusse) and that's where my major source of income from.

3.Are you Singaporean? Because you don't look local.

I am a Singaporean, both my parents are Singaporeans.

I don't know why people think that I'm from Hongkong/Thailand or even JAPAN?

I don't look Singaporean enough meh? 

4.How many dogs to you do you keep in total? 

5! I love all my dogs. 

5.Who or What inspired you to start amusse? Or why did you started amusse? When there are so many famous blogshops out there.

I think it is just me myself that I do not like working for anyone. 

I've been working part-time since I was 14 and I've many job experiences, both good and bad and I realized how much I DISLIKE working for people sometimes. 

You can't make your decision, you have to follow instructions. 

They always tell you, "Customer is always right". You can't argue with your customers etc.

I bet different, I don't think customer is always right.

 Some customers are just demanding and unreasonable. 

I think sometimes it is important to educate our customers what are right and what are wrong and why they are wrong and we are right.(Certain situations)

You can read my previous post here , about one of my customer being really unreasonable. 

I worked at The Body Shop for a year from 2011-2012, I really enjoyed working there because of my colleagues but I couldn't stand the exhausting long hours and not being able to spend time on my own. And it came to the point that I just didn't want to work for anyone anymore.

 I wanted to be a decision maker instead of a follower.

 I like to work on my own and in my own pace. 

I wanted to do what I like and enjoy what I do. 

And I think everyone should think this way too, do what you want, and enjoy what you do. 

If you enjoy your job, you will never need to work a single day in your life. 

I understand a HUGE number of competitors out there, but I just wanted to give it a try and I thank all customers for their support:) 

6. What do you intend to do in future? 

Get married and be a good housewife. 

HAHAHA, I'm just kidding. I've not idea what do I want to do in future. 

But I'm the kind of person that I can't stay long in one job. 

And office job is a NO-NO for me. 

I had my internship at The Body Shop, commercial department for 2 months and I almost died.

I've to wake up 6AM in the morning, run sap reports and reports and reports everyday just doing reports which can literally drive me crazy! 

Well, I actually HOPE I could work as an air-stewardessˆˆ 

So I could travel more often to more places! 

And of course, continue to run amusse well:) 

7. How would you describe your sense of style? 

Just not TOO girly.

8.What are the must-have clothings in your wardrobe? 

Outerwears/Pullovers(The first photo)

Jeans

Oxfords 

Basic shirts

Converse 

Crop shirts/tanks

Vintage clothing

Maxi skirts 

Slippers

Black dress

Black heels(At least 6 inches)

9. Where do you usually shop or get your clothings from?  

I don't have specific shop that I always shop at but I love basics from uniqlo, H&M, Topshop

Most of my clothes are clothings I sold at amusse before! 

10. Where do you think is a good place to chill at? 

 If you like drinking beer and abit of sheesha, Haji Lane is a good place. 

If not, I think cafes that serves, coffee and tea are good enough for me. 

And a good book!
